New SWIFT 4 Updates

On the 16th June 2008 Trakm8 SWIFT was updated to the most recent version - version 4.

There are a number of changes made to the system, some which are fixes to previous problems, others which are new features and ideas.

Here is a summary of the changes made:

• New Reporting engine - The SWIFT reporting engine was completely re-developed to allow more stability, flexibility and advanced features.
  
• Vehicle Labels can now be displayed on screen - this can be toggled ON or OFF.
  
• Export Reports to CSV - Most reports can now be exported to a CSV (Microsoft Excel) file, which allows you manipulate, archive or further examine results.
  
• Reports: Time parameter - A new feature which is now available on all reports is the time filter. In addition to selecting specific dates, you can now also select specific time-spans. This will allow for more tailored reports.
  
• Journey Summary: Layout Update -The Journey Summary Report now visually reflects the Quick Journey Summary, which is located at the bottom of the main SWIFT window.
  
• Vehicle Refresh -The vehicles are now refreshed every 2 minutes, instead of every 5 minutes. This will allow for more accurate data.
  
• Vehicle Name Length Increase - Vehicle names can now be up to 20 characters long, instead of 16.
  
• Weekend Period Reports - In addition to the Previous Week and Current Week report timescales, you can now select a Previous Weekendreport.
  
• POI Alert Report -This enables a report which details selected vehicles that have entered and exited certain POIs/Places. You can run this against ALL POIs or a group of POIs.
  
• Vehicle Search - In addition to the Postcode Search located at the bottom-left of the SWIFT window, you can now search for vehicle names by selecting "Vehicle" from the drop-down box.
  
• Numerous Bug Fixes -As with any software, minor issues can and do occur. We have proactively ensured that these issues have been resolved in this release. However, if some problems still exist, please do not hesitate to contact our Support department.
  
• Various Performance Tweaks- Along with other improvements, we have allowed SWIFT to run more efficiently, which for some people should provide a decent performance boost.  
  
• Updated Help Manual -In line with the updates, the SWIFT Help manual has been updated with some more relevant screenshots and additional help regarding our new features.
